TEI is a participant of the power exchanges of France, Germany, Greece, Switzerland as well as Italy and in combination with its power plant and medium to long term tolling agreements, sells power to other wholesale traders, utilities, international as well as municipal, and industrial end-users.

Such sales range in duration from weekly to annual deliveries and can be profiled to cover peak, offpeak, or constant 24 hours per day supply.

TEI sells both renewable and thermal generated power, and is an active player in the European environmental and
physical transmission capacity rights markets. With its experience in managing the Elettrogorizia power plant, TEI also provides scheduling and trading services to various municipal utilities, who own power plants in Italy.

All its business is carried out within the European Union, with approximately forty percent of its activities in the Italian market. Approximately ninety percent of TEI's current customer base is either rated investment grade or is owned by the State or the Region.
